How many pictures will we receive?
At this time I've not locked myself into a set number of pictures- I provide plenty but I struggle to commit to pictures because I love too many and I know my favorites won't be the same as yours. You will get more than the average session with other photographers.
(Things that will affect how many images you receive 1. length of session booked 2. late arrival or not being prepared for session 3. children or other members not being focused during session making it difficult to keep the processing running smoothly
I cannot be liable for issues out of my control such as these)
How should we dress for our family session?
When we book if you have questions on this we will chat because I feel it depends on so many things - season, location, goal of the photo, and what you are comfortable in. Everyone should be coordinated, graphic tees should be avoided when possible unless they match the theme of the session, and things the complement the season or locations when possible make the best choice as well as things typical to how you'd usually dress in real life of course. Solid white or mostly white should be avoided when possible unless you are a bride, avoid everyone in the photos matching exactly but find complementary colors and styles unless a wedding party or sibling outfits meant to match. If you need specific help I am more than happy to just let me know!
What’s the best time to have a session?
This is another one that I can't give a one size fits all answer so when you book we can go over this. It depends a lot on location, season, indoors or outdoors, kids needs, and possibly other things. We will work together to find a good fit!
What is your editing style and turn around time?
Unlike others I don't have a set style- right or wrong in the world of photography that is just me. I feel some photos call for something and others for another style. I also like to be open to working with what fits into your style because I know not everyone sees things in the same way as I do. At the end of the day these are your photos so I want you to be happy- if you know you have a certain look in mind tell me when we book and I will try to achieve that- just know that there is no guarantee so please look at my albums on here as well as Facebook to see my previous work and see if you feel I am a good fit for you. As far as shooting style I love a more natural and documentary style with light posed sprinkled throughout the session- Life To Lens.
I try to have everything edited within two to three weeks but will do my best to provide you a sneak peak within 72 hours- unless it is an event such as a wedding or a larger booked event like holiday themes where an entire day is blocked off for back to back sessions then editing times will be discussed when booking
